Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born August 20 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, known for her critically acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams was the youngest of seven siblings, who were raised as a young child in Castle Rock, Colorado. Her birth was during the time that her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. At the beginning of 1990, she started dance and performing professionally through Colorado's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. She then moved to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a documentary mock film that focused on beauty contests. They moved her in Los Angeles after making her debut on the screen as a good-natured but naive contestant.
